   I love this work.
I am passionate about supporting couples and individuals in having the relationships and lives they long for.
In my work, I draw from the following: my education at the California Institute of Integral Studies, many hours with highly skilled supervisors, continued training in attachment theory, neuroscience and experiential therapy, having gone deeply into my own process of healing with professional guidance and support, my experience in relationship and parenting, my 17 years as a daily meditator, extensive world travel and my own spiritual practice.
I will bring my capacity to meet people in their deepest pain as well as their greatest joy, my willingness to be direct as well as warm and truly supportive, my transparency and authenticity, and my ability to love and delight in others.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful and effective therapy for the treatment of trauma. EMDR therapy incorporates eye movements or other bilateral stimulation into a comprehensive approach that processes and releases information trapped in the mind and body, freeing people from disturbing images and body sensations, debilitating emotions, and restrictive beliefs.

EFT   (Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples)

-Core Skills Advanced Training with Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen, Ph.D., C. Psych. 2013
- Externship with Sue Johnson 2012
EFT is a structured, short-term approach to couples therapy that is one of the most empirically validated types of couples therapy. There is significant research on this approach and it has been found that 70-75% of couples move from distress to recovery, and that these results appear to be less susceptible to relapse than those from other approaches.

Hakomi
-Hakomi Professional Training at CIIS with Rob Fischer 2010
Hakomi is a present and bodily centered form of psychotherapy that quickly accesses core material, allowing it to emerge safely into consciousness. Once conscious, it can be re-evaluated, and where appropriate, powerfully transformed.  New dimensions of awareness can be integrated, helping the individual to build a more satisfying and effective life.
